Yorkshire Evening Post Carol Service

Yorkshire Evening Post Carol ServiceThe Annual YEP carol service takes place on Thusday 7 December beginning at 7pm. The uplifting service, conducted by Canon Sam Corley, will celebrate the Christmas story through readings and performances by the Minster’s own choir and the Yorkshire Evening Post Brass Band.

Tickets are free with a suggested minimum £3.50 donation.

Proceeds will be shared equally between Leeds Minster and the YEP’s Half and Half appeal, which raises funds for St Gemma’s Hospice and Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.

Those who are attending are invited to bring a small, new gift of toy to place under the Christmas tree should they wish. The presents, which must be labelled with the age and gender of the intended recipient, will then be distributed to sick and under-privileged children throughout Leeds in time for Christmas Day. A maximum of four tickets can be booked per person.

Call 0333 207 0743 and select option 5 on weekdays, 9.30am and 5pm.

Alternatively, email customer.sales@jpress.co.uk with the number of tickets you require.
