Safeguarding

Christian communities should be places where all people feel welcomed, respected and safe from abuse.

Leeds Minster is committed to encouraging an environment where all people, and especially those who may be vulnerable for any reason, are able to worship and pursue their faith journey with encouragement and safety.

To this end, the PCC have adopted the House of Bishops’ policies for safeguarding adults, Promoting A Safer Church, and for safeguarding children, Protecting All God’s Children, as the basis for our own church policy and practice.

If you have any concerns about any individual’s welfare, please speak with either the Rector, Paul Maybury (07507 213 394) or the Parish Safeguarding Officer, Kay Brown.
