A fun afternoon singing great music by Handel and Mozart in the glorious setting of Leeds Minster, led by St Peter’s Singers with Alex Woodrow directing!
Performance at 5pm – Admission £10 at the door
If you fancy singing Handel’s great Coronation anthem ‘Zadok the Priest’ or Mozart’s famous ‘Requiem’ this is a chance not to be missed.
St Peter’s Singers will be your hosts and lead the singing, directed by the brilliant Alex Woodrow and accompanied on the magnificent Minster organ by Shaun Turnbull. Copies of both works will be provided.
Starting with registration at 1pm and rehearsing from 1.30pm the afternoon will include plenty of time for refreshments and socialising, and will conclude with a performance of these great works starting at 5pm. So the scene is set for some exhilarating singing and plenty of fun!
It is essential to book in advance. This is to enable us to prepare properly to give you a warm welcome.
Under-18s are welcome but must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult.
Dress is smart casual.
