Organ Recitals are presented throughout the year at the regular times of Friday lunchtime (1.00pm) during term time and Sunday evenings (6.30pm) through August. Admission to the Friday recitals is free with a voluntary retiring collection; and refreshments are available from 12.30pm.
The recitals offer a chance to hear the magnificent Harrison & Harrison organ played by the Minster’s own superb organists, and by guest players from all over the country and even from abroad. Newly acquired audio-visual equipment, purchased through the generosity of the Liz and Terry Bramall Trust, now provides the enhanced experience of allowing the listener to view the performer as they play.
