You are warmly invited to the exhibition and a commemoration of the victims of the Holodomor and the war against Ukraine. Plast Leeds in collaboration with AUGB – Leeds Ukrainian Community Centre, Leeds Ukrainian Saturday School, Leeds Ukrainian Society, Teneta, and Leeds Minster warmly invite you to visit the exhibition “HOLODOMOR: The Man-Made Famine in Ukraine” at Leeds Minster
22–28 February 2026
Leeds Minster, 2–6 Kirkgate, Leeds, LS2 7DJ
This powerful and moving exhibition reveals one of the most horrific, deliberately engineered crimes of the 20th century — the Holodomor of 1932–1933, during which millions of Ukrainians were starved to death by the Soviet regime. Through historical materials and visual displays, visitors are invited to learn the truth, reflect, and honour the memory of the victims.
Together, we honour the memory of all those who lost their lives in the struggle for truth, independence, and freedom of the Ukrainian people — from the victims of the Holodomor to the heroes and civilians killed as a result of Russian aggression.
Free entry (donations welcome)
The exhibition was created by the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine / MFA of Ukraine and was recently displayed at the UK Parliament.
We remember.
