Astounding Inventions
Guided tours at 11:30am and 12pm
The present Leeds Minster is probably the fifth church on this site. It was the brainchild of Dr Hook, the new Vicar, and when it was consecrated in 1841, it really did represent “Astounding Inventions” in several important respects.
The Minster will be open from 11am to 1:30pm. Visit us to learn more about the novel layout, building materials and decorations of this beautiful Victorian gothic building.
Guided tours will run from 11:30am and 12pm, lasting 1 hour.
