All are welcome to this church service as we pray for God’s blessing on the people and work of Leeds Church Institute, and to commission new members of staff. The service falls within the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and we will join with Christians around the globe focussing on Be-Longing: Praying for Unity amidst Injustice, using resources prepared by churches in Minneapolis.
After the service there will be refreshments in the City of Leeds Room, with time to talk and to hear more about the LCI’s plans for 2023. We are delighted to have Sir John Battle joining us for the service.
2023 is set to be an important year for Leeds Church Institute as they step forward with four new members of staff and two new members of Council, all of whom joined at the end of 2022:
