YEP Brass
Choir of Leeds Minster
Organiser: Yorkshire Evening Post
Admission : Free (retiring collection in aid of Martin House Children’s Hospice and Leeds Minster)
All are warmly invited to the Yorkshire Evening Post Carol Service, which once again will take place at Leeds Minster. Join in the carol singing with YEP Brass and the Choir of Leeds Minster. We are also excited to welcome Duncan Wood, formerly of ITV Calendar, to read a Christmas poem to round off the service.
Tickets are free but there will be a collection on the door (cash or card), which will be split between Martin House Children’s Hospice and the Minster. The recommended donation is £5+ per person.
We also invite everyone to bring gifts suitable for children, which will be collected by Cash For Kids and distributed to disadvantaged families in the local area. Please leave your gifts unwrapped, else the charity will unfortunately not be able to accept them. See here for more details. You will be invited to bring your gifts to the Christmas tree at the appropriate point in the service.
On behalf of both the YEP and the Minster, we look forward to welcoming you! Refreshments will be on sale both before and after the service in the City of Leeds Room.
Please note that some of the seating at the Minster has a restricted view. All seating is unreserved and will be first come, first served. Doors open at 6:00pm.
