For Leeds Light Night 2022, on 13 and 14 October, the Minster played host to the light and sound installation Breathe. On the Thursday, over 100 people attended a Service of Light devised especially for the occasion, with music including Holy is the true Light by William Henry Harris and Hail, Gladdening Light by Charles Wood, sung by the choir.
