The person appointed will be supportive of the values and mission of the Minster. This is a senior role in a significant and valued city-centre church in Leeds overseeing the day to day operations of the Minster and managing staff and volunteers under the leadership of the Rector.
This is a new, senior post, whose remit will include ensuring the smooth running of the parish’s range of activities on site and establishing robust financial control systems. All of this will be done to allow the church to be run as efficiently as possible, meeting the expectations and needs of parishioners, user groups, visitors and clients. The staff team is very small, however, and the person appointed will need to be sufficiently flexible to manage both specialised and basic administrative tasks when required.
The salary is £33,600 – £36,000, dependent on experience, for 30 hours per week. (FTE £42,000 to £45,000)
A full application pack including background papers, role description, person specification and details of how to apply are available by emailing the Rector.
Applications close on Friday 6 March at 11.00pm.
