Meet the Leeds Minster Society of Change Ringers (LMSCR) to discover what it takes to be a bell ringer in this short feature from the Yorkshire Evening Post. The Minster had the world’s first ever ring of thirteen bells, and they are still rung today ahead of our 10.30am and 5.30pm services on a Sunday. There is also a practice on Thursday evenings.
LMSCR are always on the lookout for new ringers – to find out more, follow the link to the video below and read more on our website. Bell ringing is great for developing your mental skills as well as being a very sociable activity!
